Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SiderAL Med is a food for special medical purposes formulated to address nutritional deficiencies, particularly in bariatric patients and individuals with malabsorption syndromes. It contains a comprehensive blend of vitamins (A, C, D, E, K, PP/niacinamide, B5/pantothenic acid, B6/pyridoxine hydrochloride, B9/folate, B12/cyanocobalamin) and minerals (including iron as Sucrosomial Iron/ferric pyrophosphate r.m., seaweed calcium/Aquamin from Lithothamnium calcareum, magnesium oxide/Ultramag®, zinc oxide/Ultrazin®, sodium selenite/Ultrasel®, copper citrate), all protected by patented Sucrosomial Technology to enhance absorption and tolerability. The formulation is gluten-free and lactose-free. Its primary mechanism is the correction of micronutrient deficiencies through improved bioavailability of iron and other minerals without interfering with the absorption of other nutrients. The product is designed for use under medical supervision and not intended as the sole source of nutrition[2].
