**siEGFR-SWCNT** is an investigational, intravenously administered single-walled carbon nanotube delivery formulation carrying a small interfering RNA directed against **epidermal growth factor receptor**. Developed by Ensysce, the formulation was evaluated preclinically in EGFR-overexpressing A431 human epidermoid carcinoma xenografts. The siRNA component is intended to reduce EGFR expression in tumor tissue, while PEG-lipid-formulated single-walled carbon nanotubes improve systemic circulation and tumor accumulation. In the reported mouse xenograft study, an optimized formulation produced EGFR knockdown of up to 90% and delayed tumor growth by 16 to 20 days relative to free-siRNA control treatment.
