SIG001

SIG001 is a humanized monoclonal antibody designed to target **Sialic acid-binding Ig-like lectin 15** (Siglec-15), an emerging immune checkpoint molecule. Siglec-15 is expressed on the surface of tumor-associated macrophages and various tumor cells, where it functions to suppress T-cell activation and proliferation, thereby facilitating immune evasion. By binding to Siglec-15, SIG001 aims to block this inhibitory signal and restore the anti-tumor immune response. The drug is being developed by **Signet Therapeutics** in collaboration with **Peking University** and is currently undergoing Phase I clinical evaluation in patients with advanced solid tumors to assess its safety, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary efficacy.
