Overview

SIM0183 is a bispecific antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) that simultaneously targets the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and the hepatocyte growth factor receptor (c-MET, also known as MET). Developed by Simcere Pharmaceutical and its subsidiary Shandong Simcere Medgenn, this therapeutic candidate is designed for the treatment of solid tumors, particularly those that have developed resistance to standard EGFR inhibitors through c-MET bypass signaling. By binding to both receptors, SIM0183 facilitates the internalization of the ADC complex into cancer cells, where a cytotoxic payload is released to induce cell death. This dual-targeting approach aims to provide enhanced anti-tumor activity and overcome heterogeneity in target expression within the tumor microenvironment.
