Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SIM0317 is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) targeting Cadherin-17 (CDH17), developed by Simcere Pharmaceutical (Jiangsu Xiansheng). CDH17 is a calcium-dependent cell adhesion protein that is highly and specifically expressed in gastrointestinal (GI) tract epithelia and is overexpressed in various GI malignancies, including colorectal and gastric cancers. By targeting CDH17, SIM0317 aims to selectively deliver a potent cytotoxic agent to tumor cells while sparing healthy tissue. This program is part of Simcere's broader portfolio of CDH17-targeted therapies intended for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, particularly those of the gastrointestinal tract.
