Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SIM0322 is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) targeting Cadherin-6 (CDH6), developed by Simcere Pharmaceutical (specifically through its oncology-focused subsidiary, Simcere Zaiming). CDH6 is a cell-surface glycoprotein that is frequently overexpressed in various solid tumors, including ovarian cancer and renal cell carcinoma, while maintaining limited expression in normal tissues. SIM0322 is designed to selectively bind to CDH6-expressing tumor cells, leading to the internalization of the ADC and the subsequent intracellular release of a cytotoxic payload to induce cell death. This targeted approach aims to maximize anti-tumor efficacy while minimizing systemic toxicity. SIM0322 is currently in early-stage development for the treatment of advanced solid tumors.
