Overview

SIM0360 is an investigational bispecific monoclonal antibody being developed by Simcere Pharmaceutical (specifically through its subsidiary Shandong Simcere Medgenn) for the treatment of various cancers. As a T-cell engager, SIM0360 is designed to simultaneously bind to the CD3 receptor on T-lymphocytes and a specific tumor-associated antigen on the surface of malignant cells. This dual binding mechanism brings T-cells into close proximity with cancer cells, triggering T-cell activation and the subsequent release of cytotoxic proteins to destroy the targeted tumor cells. It is currently positioned in the oncology segment of Simcere's innovative drug research and development pipeline.
