Overview

SIM0611 is a preclinical antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by Nanjing Zaiming Pharmaceutical, a subsidiary of Simcere Pharmaceutical Group. It is designed to target both the Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) and the Hepatocyte Growth Factor Receptor (MET, also known as cMet), which are frequently co-expressed or involved in resistance mechanisms in various solid tumors. A distinguishing feature of SIM0611 is its use of an N-myristoyltransferase inhibitor (NMTI) as the cytotoxic payload. NMTIs represent a novel class of ADC payloads that interfere with protein myristoylation, a critical post-translational modification for the membrane localization and function of many signaling proteins. By dual-targeting EGFR and MET, SIM0611 aims to overcome resistance to single-target therapies and provide enhanced anti-tumor activity in advanced solid tumors.
