Overview

SIM0616 is a preclinical-stage trispecific antibody developed by Nanjing Zaiming Pharmaceutical, a subsidiary of Simcere. It is designed to treat solid tumors, particularly prostate cancer, by simultaneously targeting two tumor-associated antigens: Six-Transmembrane Epithelial Antigen of the Prostate 1 (STEAP1) and Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen (PSMA). The third arm of the antibody binds to CD3 on T cells, facilitating the recruitment and activation of T cells directly to the tumor site. This dual-targeting approach is intended to enhance the specificity of T-cell mediated killing and reduce the likelihood of tumor escape through antigen loss.
