Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SIM0618 is an investigational small molecule antagonist of the endothelin A receptor (ETAR) developed by Simcere Pharmaceutical (specifically through its oncology subsidiary, Simcere Zaiming). The endothelin system, particularly the ETAR signaling pathway, is known to play a critical role in tumor progression, including cell proliferation, survival, angiogenesis, and the development of bone metastases. By selectively antagonizing ETAR, SIM0618 aims to disrupt these oncogenic processes and inhibit tumor growth. It is currently being evaluated in early-stage clinical trials for the treatment of advanced solid tumors.
