Overview

SIM0761 is a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting the alpha subunit of the interleukin-2 receptor (IL-2Rα, also known as CD25), developed by Simcere Pharmaceutical for the treatment of autoimmune diseases. CD25 is a key component of the high-affinity IL-2 receptor complex and is highly expressed on activated T cells. By binding to CD25, SIM0761 blocks the interaction between IL-2 and its receptor, thereby inhibiting the activation and proliferation of pathogenic effector T cells that drive inflammation in various autoimmune and inflammatory conditions. SIM0761 is currently in Phase 1 clinical development to assess its safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics in healthy volunteers and patients with autoimmune conditions.
