Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SIM0GU7 is an investigational bifunctional fusion protein developed by Simcere Pharmaceutical (specifically Shandong Simcere Medgenn). It is designed to simultaneously target the Programmed Cell Death Protein 1 (PD-1) and Interleukin-15 (IL-15) pathways. The molecule typically consists of a PD-1-targeting antibody or fragment fused to an IL-15 cytokine component, with an Fc region engineered for FcRn binding to extend its circulating half-life. This dual-action approach aims to overcome the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment by blocking the PD-1/PD-L1 checkpoint while promoting the proliferation and activation of CD8+ T cells and Natural Killer (NK) cells via IL-15 signaling. It is currently being developed for the treatment of various solid tumors.
