Overview

SIM1803-1A is an orally available small molecule inhibitor targeting multiple receptor tyrosine kinases, specifically anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK), c-ros oncogene 1 (ROS1), and tropomyosin receptor kinases (TRK; NTRK family). It is being developed for the treatment of solid tumors harboring wild-type or mutant NTRK, ROS1, or ALK gene fusions. The drug acts by blocking the activity of these kinases in cancer cells, thereby inhibiting tumor growth. Preclinical studies have shown high antitumor efficacy in models with relevant gene fusions. Clinical development has focused on patients with locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors that are positive for NTRK, ROS1, or ALK fusions[1][2][4][5][6].
