Overview

Simiao Sanjie granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formulation developed by Guang'anmen Hospital of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. It is primarily indicated for the management of high-risk subsolid pulmonary nodules (SSNs), which are clinical precursors or early manifestations of lung adenocarcinoma. The formulation is designed based on TCM principles to "dissipate nodules" and "resolve phlegm," aiming to stabilize or reduce the size of pulmonary nodules and mitigate the risk of progression to lung cancer. It is currently undergoing clinical evaluation to determine its safety and efficacy in patients with persistent subsolid nodules.
