Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Sinarest Plus is a fixed-dose combination medication developed by Centaur Pharmaceuticals for the treatment of symptoms associated with the common cold, flu, allergic rhinitis, and upper respiratory tract infections. It is available in multiple formulations, including a pediatric suspension and an adult tablet. The pediatric suspension formulation typically contains paracetamol (acetaminophen) as an analgesic and antipyretic, phenylephrine hydrochloride as a nasal decongestant, chlorpheniramine maleate as an antihistamine, sodium citrate as a mucolytic/alkalinizing agent, and menthol for its cooling effect. The adult tablet formulation contains paracetamol, phenylephrine, chlorpheniramine, and caffeine to enhance the analgesic effect and reduce drowsiness. Together, these components work synergistically to relieve fever, body aches, nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, and cough.
