Overview

Sindilizumab is an immune checkpoint inhibitor classified as a monoclonal antibody targeting the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) receptor. It is designed to block the interaction between PD-1 and its ligands, thereby enhancing T-cell mediated immune responses against tumor cells. Sindilizumab has been investigated primarily for use in various cancers, including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), both as monotherapy and in combination with chemotherapy or radiotherapy. The drug has demonstrated efficacy in clinical trials but is associated with immune-related adverse events affecting multiple organ systems, such as hepatitis, myocarditis, cutaneous vasculitis, and endocrine disorders[3][4][5][7][8]. Sindilizumab is developed by Innovent Biologics.
