SinEcch

SinEcch is a commercially available homeopathic product developed by Alpine Pharmaceuticals, specifically designed to reduce postoperative bruising (ecchymosis), swelling (edema), and pain. The product consists of a programmed dosage regimen of *Arnica montana* in two different homeopathic potencies: three capsules of 1M (high potency) and nine capsules of 12C (low potency), for a total of 12 capsules taken over a four-day period starting on the day of surgery. As a homeopathic preparation, its mechanism of action is based on the principles of homeopathy rather than conventional pharmacological target binding. It has been evaluated in various clinical settings, including a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine for patients undergoing third molar (wisdom tooth) extractions.
