Sini San modified granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formulation derived from the classic Sini San formula. It is being developed and investigated by Guang'anmen Hospital, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, specifically for treating postoperative psychological dysfunction, including depression, anxiety, and fear of cancer recurrence, in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The base formula typically includes *Bupleurum chinense*, *Paeonia lactiflora*, *Citrus aurantium*, and *Glycyrrhiza uralensis*, which are traditionally used to soothe the liver and regulate Qi. In a clinical trial context, these granules are compared against a simulator to evaluate their efficacy in improving quality of life, sleep, and fatigue in the postoperative recovery phase.
