Sinol-D

Sinol-D is an over-the-counter (OTC) homeopathic nasal spray developed by Sinol USA for the temporary relief of nasal congestion, sinus pressure, and headaches associated with allergies, sinusitis, and the common cold. The primary active ingredient in Sinol-D is Capsicum annuum (capsicum), which contains capsaicin, a potent agonist of the transient receptor potential vanilloid 1 (TRPV1) channel. Upon intranasal administration, capsaicin binds to TRPV1 receptors on sensory nerve fibers in the nasal mucosa, initially stimulating them and subsequently inducing a prolonged refractory period of desensitization. This desensitization reduces nasal hyperreactivity, alleviates mucosal inflammation, and decreases the release of neuropeptides like substance P, thereby relieving congestion and sinus pain without causing rebound congestion or habit-forming side effects.
