Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Sinudox** is a ready-to-use intranasal antiseptic and nasal-irrigation spray formulated as a superoxidized electrolyzed solution containing hypochlorous acid and sodium hypochlorite as free chlorine species. It uses Microdacyn technology and acts through nonspecific oxidative antimicrobial activity against bacteria, fungi, and viruses while cleansing and moistening nasal passages. It is marketed for nasal hygiene and as an auxiliary treatment for common cold, rhinopharyngitis, rhinitis, sinusitis, nasal congestion, and wounds in the nasal cavity. The Mexican product label identifies hypochlorous acid and sodium hypochlorite as active substances and describes broad antimicrobial activity; hypersensitivity to formulation components is a contraindication.
