Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SIR-T CD30 is an investigational cell therapy being developed by Angeles Therapeutics for the treatment of CD30-positive malignancies. The therapy utilizes the company's proprietary Synthetic Immune Receptor (SIR) technology, which involves engineering T cells to express a receptor that mimics the natural T-cell receptor (TCR) complex while targeting the CD30 antigen. This approach is intended to provide more physiological signaling and improved persistence compared to traditional chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapies. Currently in the discovery stage, SIR-T CD30 is primarily aimed at treating lymphomas such as Hodgkin lymphoma and anaplastic large cell lymphoma, where CD30 is highly expressed.
