Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SIR-T CLDN6 is an engineered cell therapy candidate developed by Angeles Therapeutics, utilizing the proprietary Synthetic Immune Receptor (SIR-T) platform to target Claudin-6 (CLDN6). CLDN6 is an oncofetal antigen frequently overexpressed in solid tumors such as ovarian, lung, and testicular cancers, while remaining largely absent in healthy adult tissues. The SIR-T platform is designed to provide a more physiological T-cell activation signal compared to traditional CAR-T architectures, potentially enhancing persistence and reducing exhaustion. The program is currently in late preclinical development for the treatment of CLDN6-positive malignancies.
