SIR-T CS1 is an investigational cell therapy being developed by Angeles Therapeutics for the treatment of CS1-expressing malignancies, primarily multiple myeloma. The therapy utilizes the company's proprietary Synthetic Immune Receptor (SIR-T) platform, which is designed to engineer T cells with receptors that more closely mimic natural T-cell signaling compared to traditional Chimeric Antigen Receptors (CARs). By targeting CS1 (also known as SLAMF7), a protein highly expressed on the surface of malignant plasma cells, SIR-T CS1 aims to provide a potent and durable anti-tumor response. The program is currently in the IND-enabling stage of development.
