siRNA (Cyp3a11) is a small interfering RNA designed to silence the expression of the mouse Cyp3a11 gene, which encodes the cytochrome P450 monooxygenase enzyme Cyp3a11 (the mouse ortholog of human CYP3A4). In preclinical research, silencing of Cyp3a11 using this siRNA has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of ovarian-dependent SSM2ucd mouse mammary carcinoma cells, which depend on Cyp3a11 epoxygenase activity and epoxyeicosatrienoic acids (EETs) for growth.
