Overview

siRNA KDM4B (KDM4B siRNA) is a small interfering RNA designed to target and silence the expression of lysine-specific demethylase 4B (KDM4B), an epigenetic enzyme that is frequently overexpressed in various malignancies, including breast and prostate cancers. KDM4B plays a critical role in cancer progression by acting as a co-activator for key transcription factors such as estrogen receptor alpha (ERα) and androgen receptor (AR). In laboratory research, siRNA KDM4B is widely utilized as a research-use-only (RUO) tool to knock down KDM4B expression, allowing investigators to study its impact on cell proliferation, cell-cycle progression, and metabolic reprogramming. Silencing KDM4B restores repressive histone marks (such as H3K9me3) and suppresses oncogenic signaling pathways, highlighting KDM4B as a promising therapeutic target.
