Overview

siRNA targeting NRIP1 (also referred to as siNRIP1) is an experimental, preclinical research tool that utilizes RNA interference (RNAi) technology to silence the expression of the Nuclear Receptor-Interacting Protein 1 (NRIP1, also known as RIP140) gene. NRIP1 is a transcriptional co-regulator involved in nuclear receptor signaling and various cellular processes. In preclinical studies, knockdown of NRIP1 using siRNA has been investigated across multiple indications, including breast cancer (where it induces apoptosis, inhibits cell growth, and suppresses tamoxifen resistance), metabolic diseases (such as obesity and type 2 diabetes), pre-eclampsia, non-small cell lung cancer, and psoriasis. It is primarily used as a laboratory reagent and is not currently being developed as a proprietary therapeutic by any pharmaceutical company.
