Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Sirotinib (also known as XZP-5491) is an investigational, small-molecule, irreversible pan-HER (ErbB) receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor developed by Xuanzhu Biopharmaceutical, a subsidiary of Sihuan Pharmaceutical. It is designed to target the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR/ErbB1), HER2 (ErbB2), HER3 (ErbB3), and HER4 (ErbB4). Preclinical studies have demonstrated that sirotinib has broad-spectrum antitumor activity and is capable of crossing the blood-brain barrier. It is being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials in China for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, including non-small cell lung cancer, esophageal cancer, and gastric cancer.
