Overview

SIRP-NNP is a preclinical-stage therapeutic nanoparticle developed by ShiftBio. This design allows the drug to engage the CD47/SIRPα signaling pathway, which typically serves as an immune checkpoint or "don't eat me" signal. Research published in *Kidney International* has highlighted its efficacy in models of acute kidney injury (AKI), and the company is also exploring its use in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and acute liver failure.
