Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Sitmutolimod (formerly known as HP007) is an investigational synthetic C-type CpG oligodeoxynucleotide (CpG ODN) that acts as a Toll-like receptor 9 (TLR9) agonist. Developed by Parr Biotechnology (formerly Huapu Biotechnology), sitmutolimod is designed to stimulate the innate immune system, particularly activating plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs), natural killer (NK) cells, and CD8+ T cells to promote a robust Th1-biased immune response and elicit antineoplastic activity. It is being evaluated as an intratumoral monotherapy in Phase 1 clinical trials for relapsed or refractory advanced solid tumors. Additionally, sitmutolimod is a key component of SV-102, an intratumorally administered fixed-dose combination therapy developed by Syncromune (as part of their SYNC-T platform) that also includes abazistobart (anti-PD-1), futermestotug (anti-CTLA-4), and ciltistotug (CD40 agonist) for the treatment of metastatic prostate cancer.
