Overview
Siyadan is a traditional Uyghur herbal medicine brand from Xinjiang Uygur Pharmaceutical. Its core marketed products include Compound Siyadan Hair Growth Tincture (Fufang Siyadan Shengfa Ding) and Compound Siyadan Hair Growth Oil (Fufang Siyadan Shengfa You), which are over-the-counter topical preparations formulated with Nigella (black seed) seed, peach kernel, and pomegranate seed. These products are indicated for the treatment of hair loss (alopecia), alopecia areata, and itchy scalp. Additionally, an investigational formulation, Siyadan Gelatum (Siyadan Gel), is being developed by the Xinjiang Technical Institute of Physics & Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) for the treatment of vitiligo, and has received IND approval to enter clinical trials.
