Overview
SJP-100 is an injectable small molecule combination therapeutic developed by Sen-Jam Pharmaceutical, consisting of the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) ketorolac and the antihistamine diphenhydramine. Designed for in-hospital use, SJP-100 functions as an immunomodulator with a dual mechanism of action intended to combat cytokine storms, such as those associated with severe viral infections like COVID-19, without causing systemic immunosuppression. The drug targets both the cyclooxygenase (COX) pathways and histamine H1 receptors to mitigate the hyper-inflammatory response. Sen-Jam has established a strategic partnership with KVK-Tech for the formulation, Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) services, and exclusive US distribution rights for the product.
