SJP-200 is an investigational small molecule therapeutic being developed by Sen-Jam Pharmaceutical, currently in the discovery stage. It is designed to address low-grade chronic inflammation and premature aging by simultaneously targeting cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1), cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), and mast cells. The drug's mechanism of action involves the dual inhibition of COX enzymes to reduce the synthesis of pro-inflammatory prostaglandins and the stabilization or modulation of mast cells to prevent the release of inflammatory mediators.
