Overview

SK-NK cell injection is an allogeneic, highly activated natural killer (NK) cell therapy developed by the Cancer Institute and Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. It is currently being evaluated in a Phase I/II clinical trial for the treatment of advanced ovarian cancer complicated by massive malignant ascites. The therapy involves the expansion and activation of NK cells to achieve high purity (>99%) and high expression of activation markers. Administered via intraperitoneal perfusion, the treatment aims to deliver these cytotoxic cells directly into the abdominal cavity to target and eliminate malignant cells, thereby controlling ascites and suppressing tumor growth in patients who have failed standard therapies.
