Overview
SK12 is a preclinical-stage live biotherapeutic product (LBP) being developed by Zhiyi Pharmaceutics for the treatment of inflammatory skin conditions, including atopic dermatitis and psoriasis. As an LBP, SK12 consists of live microorganisms designed to provide a therapeutic effect, likely by modulating the host immune system or restoring microbial homeostasis. The program is currently in the preclinical development phase, with the company aiming to submit an Investigational New Drug (IND) application in the fourth quarter of 2029.
