SKA-31 is a **synthetic small molecule activator of calcium-activated potassium channels**, specifically the intermediate-conductance KCa3.1 (also known as IK or SK4) and small-conductance KCa2 channels (SK1/SK2/SK3)[1][2][3][4][7]. SKA-31 is not approved for human use; research is primarily preclinical.
