SKB107 is a radionuclide-drug conjugate (RDC) developed for the treatment of bone metastases in solid tumors. It is the first RDC clinical project from Sichuan Kelun-Biotech Biopharmaceutical and was jointly developed with Professor Chen Yue’s team at the Affiliated Hospital of Southwest Medical University. The drug utilizes a small molecule as its targeting ligand, which is combined with specialized conjugation technology, a chelator, and a therapeutic radionuclide. This design allows SKB107 to selectively target bone metastases, delivering cytotoxic radiation directly to tumor sites while minimizing damage to normal tissues. Compared to traditional external radiation therapy and conventional bone-modifying drugs, SKB107 aims for higher efficacy in killing tumor cells within bones and improved safety by reducing off-target effects[3][4][5][7].
