Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SKB394-B is an investigational anti-BCMA (B-cell maturation antigen) CAR T-cell therapy developed for the treatment of relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma. This therapy involves engineering a patient's own T cells to express a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) that specifically targets BCMA, a protein highly expressed on malignant plasma cells in multiple myeloma. By redirecting the immune system to recognize and destroy BCMA-expressing cancer cells, SKB394-B aims to provide a novel therapeutic option for patients who have exhausted standard treatments[1].
