SKB565

SKB565 is an investigational bispecific T-cell engager (BiTE) antibody developed by Sichuan Kelun-Biotech Biopharmaceutical. It is engineered to simultaneously target Claudin 18.2 (CLDN18.2), a tight junction protein frequently overexpressed in gastric, gastroesophageal junction, and pancreatic cancers, and the CD3 subunit of the T-cell receptor complex. By bridging tumor cells and cytotoxic T-lymphocytes, SKB565 facilitates the recruitment and activation of T-cells in close proximity to CLDN18.2-expressing tumor cells, leading to targeted tumor cell lysis through the release of perforins and granzymes. SKB565 is currently being evaluated in Phase I/II clinical trials to assess its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary efficacy in patients with advanced solid tumors.
