Overview

SKG1302 is an investigational gene therapy candidate being developed by Xiamen Tebao Biological Engineering (also known as Amoytop Biotech) for the treatment of hemophilia, specifically Hemophilia B (Factor IX deficiency). Positioned as a potential first-line therapeutic, SKG1302 is designed to deliver a functional copy of the coagulation factor IX (FIX) gene to the patient's liver cells using a viral vector. The primary goal of this approach is to establish long-term, stable endogenous production of the clotting factor, thereby restoring normal hemostasis and reducing or eliminating the requirement for lifelong prophylactic factor replacement infusions. The program is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
