Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SKiP-MD is an antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) therapy being developed by SKiP Therapeutics for the treatment of muscular dystrophy. The drug is designed to restore normal splicing of pre-mRNA, addressing genetic mutations that lead to dysfunctional protein production. By utilizing a proprietary computational platform for target identification, SKiP-MD aims to correct aberrant splicing patterns and promote the expression of functional proteins. The program is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
