Overview

SKL35502 is an Indium-111 (111In) labeled small-molecule radioligand targeting the neurotensin receptor 1 (NTSR1), developed by SK Biopharmaceuticals for the noninvasive imaging of solid tumors. NTSR1 is frequently overexpressed in aggressive cancers such as pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, colorectal cancer, esophageal cancer, gastric cancer, biliary tract cancer, and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma. SKL35502 exhibits high binding affinity (KD = 0.37 nM) and specific internalization in NTSR1-expressing cells. Preclinical studies demonstrate rapid systemic clearance from non-target organs and sustained tumor enrichment, supporting its potential as a diagnostic imaging agent to detect NTSR1-positive tumors and guide patient selection for NTSR1-targeted theranostic therapies.
