Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SKY02 is a preclinical-stage immunostimulant developed by Seekyo SAS, a French biotechnology company. It is part of Seekyo's proprietary Tumor Activated Therapy (TAT) platform, which utilizes a "smart" prodrug approach to target the tumor microenvironment. The drug is designed to remain inactive in healthy tissues and selectively release its immunostimulatory payload within tumors, typically triggered by specific enzymes or conditions unique to the tumor microenvironment. This localized activation aims to enhance the anti-tumor immune response while minimizing the systemic toxicity often associated with potent immunostimulants. SKY02 is being developed for the treatment of solid tumors and may be evaluated as a monotherapy or in combination with other TAT-based agents, such as Seekyo's lead candidate SKY01.
