SL22P is an investigational autologous cell therapy product consisting of "armored" chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells engineered to target CD22 and secrete an anti-PD-L1 single-chain variable fragment (scFv). The therapy is designed to enhance antitumor immune responses in patients with advanced solid tumors. After isolation from the patient’s blood or tumor tissue, the T cells are genetically modified to express a CAR targeting CD22 and to secrete an anti-PD-L1 scFv. This dual mechanism allows direct targeting of CD22-positive tumor cells while locally inhibiting PD-1/PD-L1-mediated immunosuppression within the tumor microenvironment, thereby enhancing cytotoxic T lymphocyte activity against cancer. The product is being developed by Hebei Senlang Biotechnology for use in solid tumors such as cervical cancer and sarcoma[3][4][5].
