Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SLAM7 is a preclinical-stage monoclonal antibody being developed by Iricor Therapeutics for the treatment of multiple myeloma. The antibody is designed to target SLAM family member 7 (SLAMF7, also known as CS1, CD319, or CRACC), a cell surface glycoprotein that is highly and selectively expressed on malignant plasma cells in multiple myeloma, as well as on natural killer (NK) cells. By binding to SLAMF7, this monoclonal antibody aims to induce targeted destruction of multiple myeloma cells, potentially through mechanisms such as antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC) and antibody-dependent cellular phagocytosis (ADCP), while also modulating immune cell activity to enhance anti-tumor responses.
