Slamf7-mAb is an antibody-based immunotherapeutic designed to target the evolutionary conserved SLAM family member 7 (SLAMF7) immune receptor. Developed in a syngeneic mouse model, this monoclonal antibody aims to treat malignant hematological diseases, including multiple myeloma. Its mechanism involves binding to SLAMF7 on target cells, which then triggers antigen-specific antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) through the interaction of its Fc region with Fcγ receptor IV on immune effector cells. Preclinical studies have shown Slamf7-mAb to exert antitumor effects against SLAMF7-expressing targets and enhanced antimyeloma activity in allogeneic transplant settings.
