Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SLC-3010 + gemcitabine is a **combination therapy** consisting of SLC-3010 and gemcitabine currently under clinical investigation for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. - **SLC-3010** is a noncovalent conjugate complex of interleukin-2 (IL-2) and a humanized anti-IL-2 antibody (TCB2), known as an immune-stimulating antibody conjugate (ISAC). Its “triple action” mechanism selectively stimulates anti-tumor immunity by activating CD8+ T cells and natural killer (NK) cells via preferential targeting of the CD122 (IL-2Rβ)^high^ subset and disrupting regulatory T cell (Treg) homeostasis. SLC-3010 achieves this by in vivo complexation with endogenous IL-2, enhancing immune system activation while minimizing Treg-mediated immunosuppression. - **Gemcitabine** is a well-established nucleoside analog antimetabolite chemotherapeutic agent that incorporates into DNA, causing chain termination and apoptosis, leading to inhibition of tumor cell proliferation. This combination is being evaluated in a phase 1/2, open-label, multicenter clinical trial for its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary anti-tumor activity in patients with advanced solid tumors. SLC-3010 and its combinations are developed by Selecxine.
