Overview

SLN12140 (also known as LIN2102) is a nanobody drug candidate being developed by Linno Pharmaceuticals. It functions as an **inhibitor of complement factors**, with the aim of treating diseases related to immune and inflammatory pathways. Preclinical and early clinical development targets include **IgA glomerulonephritis**, **acute kidney injury**, and **dry age-related macular degeneration**. The mechanism of action is to block complement activation by targeting specific complement factors. The drug is being evaluated in a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled phase 1 clinical trial in healthy adults, using both subcutaneous and intravenous administration for safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and immunogenicity assessment[1][2][3].
