SLR-108 is an antibody-radionuclide conjugate (ARC) designed for positron emission tomography (PET) imaging, developed by Solve Therapeutics. It consists of a monoclonal antibody targeting Sialic acid-binding Ig-like lectin 15 (Siglec-15) conjugated to the positron-emitting isotope Zirconium-89 (89Zr). Siglec-15 is an emerging immune checkpoint protein expressed on tumor-associated macrophages and various cancer cells, where it functions to inhibit T-cell activation and promote an immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment. By binding specifically to Siglec-15, SLR-108 allows for the non-invasive visualization and quantification of the protein's expression in patients with metastatic solid tumors. This imaging agent is primarily intended to support the clinical development of Solve's therapeutic anti-Siglec-15 antibody, SLR-208, by identifying patients with high target expression who are most likely to benefit from treatment.
