Overview

SLV-334 is a small molecule drug initially developed for the treatment of nervous system diseases, particularly traumatic brain injury. It acts as an inhibitor of both endothelin-converting enzyme (ECE) and enkephalinase (neprilysin), which are involved in the regulation of neuropeptides and vasoactive peptides. The drug was originally developed by AbbVie and later investigated by Solvay Pharmaceuticals. Clinical development has been discontinued[2][3].
