Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**SM-19** is an investigational oral combination of repurposed FDA-approved therapies developed for early treatment of COVID-19 in non-hospitalized adults. It was identified through Louisiana State University's DeepDrug artificial-intelligence platform and was reported to target SARS-CoV-2 viral entry, fusion, and replication through an undisclosed multi-drug strategy. Preclinical cell and animal studies reportedly showed reduced viral load; the active ingredients, their individual targets, doses, and final pharmaceutical presentation have not been publicly disclosed.
